The ASISA Foundation holds the first edition of its popular race to promote sports and healthy lifestyles

The ASISA Foundation Race is proof of our commitment to health and prevention by promoting active lifestyles across the whole population, with 650 people taking part.

25 September 2025

The ASISA Foundation held the first edition of its popular race in the Parque del Oeste in Madrid, an initiative created with the aim of promoting sports, healthy habits and sharing a natural setting.

This race, with a choice of two distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, started at 9:30 AM, once participants’ bibs had been distributed. In total, about 653 bibs had been reserved, with a balanced participation of 50% women and 50% men, proof of the increasing interest in this type of event.

The course, consisting of two laps of 5.1 km each, ran through the Parque del Oeste, combining asphalt and dirt sections, with gradients that provided participants with an additional challenge.

The race had different age categories: absolute male and female, veteran A (35 years old or more), veteran B (45 years old or more), and veteran C (55 years old or more). In the end, 307 runners crossed the finish line, divided between the two distances: 5 km: 148 finishers (84 women and 64 men) and 10 km: 159 finishers (59 women and 100 men).

Participation of the “Corre con ASISA” Team

One of the highlights of the day was the participation of the “Corre con ASISA” (“Run with ASISA”) team, which trains with the support of the company to take part in medium and long-distance events such as marathons. Their involvement in this first edition of the ASISA Foundation Race was remarkable, achieving several podium finishes across different categories, highlighting ASISA's commitment to health and sport both inside and outside the company.

The ASISA Foundation would like to point out the high level of commitment seen among participants in this year’s event and the warm welcome this initiative -which it intends to continue in the coming years- has received.

The day concluded with a symbolic award ceremony, raffles and activities designed for all ages, reaffirming the family-oriented and inclusive nature of this sport and health-focussed event.
