The race, which offered two distances of 5 and 10 kilometers, started at 9:30 a.m. following the bib distribution. In total, nearly 395 bibs were reserved, with a very balanced participation: 45.8% women and 54.2% men, demonstrating the growing interest in this type of initiative.
The route, a 5 km circuit, took place through the Parque del Oeste, combining asphalt and dirt sections, with elevation changes that posed an additional challenge for the runners.
The event featured different age categories: men's and women's absolute, veteran A (from 35 years old), veteran B (from 45 years old), and veteran C (from 55 years old). Ultimately, 273 runners crossed the finish line, split between both distances.
Social commitment to the community
Additionally, the race included a charitable component, and participants made a 5-euro contribution upon registration, which will be donated to FESBAL (Spanish Federation of Food Banks).
With this initiative, ASISA Foundation aims to help spread the idea that taking care of ourselves today is deciding how we want to live tomorrow. Therefore, ASISA Foundation promotes this race to deliver a clear message: the future of our health depends on our present decisions.
