FC Barcelona and Assistència Sanitària have reached an agreement to renew their strategic sponsorship for the next five seasons, extending their partnership until June 2031. With this agreement, both entities reaffirm a collaboration model that began in 2005 and will continue past the quarter-century mark of shared history.
The insurance provider will remain the club's official medical partner and main sponsor of professional sports, managing and providing healthcare coverage for the club's medical services through its network of healthcare professionals, the Hospital de Barcelona, and Assisport International.
The main new feature of this agreement is the expansion of the sponsorship to include amateur sports sections and the Barça Genuine project, the initiative dedicated to promoting sports among people with intellectual disabilities.
With this addition, the sponsorship strengthens its presence across all stages of Barça's sports ecosystem —from youth development and non-professional sports to elite performance— while consolidating both brands' commitment to health, social inclusion, and local community roots.
Under the motto “United for excellence”, the partnership deepens its commitment to teamwork, self-improvement, and healthcare quality as core operating principles. The contract extension ensures the continued delivery of top-tier diagnostic services and specialized care for the club's athletes in the coming years.
Featuring FC Barcelona players, the new creative concept reinforces the entity's positioning as a benchmark among medical professionals. The slogan "Number 1 for those who know" highlights a unique model, created and led by doctors.
In a context where nutrition and lifestyle habits take center stage in social discourse, the Nutrition and nutritional coaching Service of Assistència Sanitària consolidates as a fully current proposal aligned with today's needs.
