Hospital de Barcelona reinforces its commitment to the continuing education of healthcare professionals

The center hosts various specialized conferences and courses that consolidate its role as a space for updating and clinical excellence.

The Hospital de Barcelona once again served as the venue for various training activities aimed at the continuous improvement of care practices, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and the constant updating of healthcare professionals.

On April 10 and 11, a course on magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography applied to podiatric surgery was held, organized by the Sociedad Española de Cirugía Podiátrica. The training brought together around thirty specialists and combined theory and practical cases, with the participation of a teaching team from the hospital itself and other centers.

Innovation in nursing and advanced microsurgery

In the field of nursing, during the same week as International Nurses Day (May 12), the first nursing conference took place, dedicated on this occasion to vascular access and focused on innovation, patient safety, and evidence-based practice. The program of presentations and panel discussions was designed with a multidisciplinary approach.

Furthermore, in mid-June and for three consecutive days, the center also hosted the second edition of the Ultrasound for Microsurgeons course, focused on the use of high-frequency ultrasound in microsurgery, with an eminently practical and educational approach.

With these initiatives, Hospital de Barcelona consolidates its role as a landmark venue for continuing education and scientific exchange among professionals.
