The insurance company has opened a new branch in the city of Cornellà de Llobregat, the thirteenth most populous city in Catalonia, expanding its presence in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
Assistència Sanitària is growing in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. With the goal of continuing to strengthen and boost its implementation and natural growth path in the Baix Llobregat region (Barcelona), Assistència Sanitària has opened a fully renovated office in the commercial area of Cornellà de Llobregat, right in the city center.
The spaces in the branch will be used for regular operations (information, administrative, and contractual), and feature a new open, warm, and modern design, aimed at optimizing activity and improving comfort, ease of use, accessibility, and flexibility for both visitors and staff.
The new model serves as a reference for the organization's network operations, which includes 21 customer service points throughout the geographical area where it operates.
The inauguration event was attended by the Deputy Mayor for Territorial Policy and Housing of the city, Antonio Martínez Flor, and the president of Assistència Sanitària, Dr. Ignacio Orce, along with other members of the organization's management, heads of local medical centers, and representatives of the public.
Dr. Orce, head of a cooperative organization made up of more than 4,000 doctors, highlighted the company’s strong roots in a region very close to Barcelona, yet dynamic and with its own unique identity.
In Cornellà de Llobregat, more than 20,000 people rely on this branch, and now have a central point of reference in a location that prioritizes comfort and accessibility.
The medical centre of the Assistència Group, located in the centre of Barcelona (Provença, 282), since September has incorporated a new service of nutrition and nutritional coaching.
