ASISA Vida celebrates 10 years consolidated as the most competitive life insurance provider in Spain

The insurer already serves more than 150,000 policyholders and is committed to expanding its activity in the coming months to reach new markets.

This year, ASISA Vida celebrates its tenth anniversary, consolidated as one of the most competitive companies in the Spanish term life insurance market. Since its birth in 2016, ASISA Vida has maintained sustained growth, developed a wide commercial network, and has a product portfolio that provides a tailored response to the protection needs of every family.

In the last decade, ASISA Vida has led ASISA Group’s commitment to diversifying its insurance activity and providing comprehensive care for the well-being of its policyholders. To this end, the company has developed a strategy focused on responding to clients who demand increasingly flexible products, which are simpler to understand and, above all, easily accessible.

Based on this commitment, ASISA Vida has reinforced its positioning through insurance with a competitive premium, adapted coverages, and diversified distribution channels. This evolution has gone hand in hand with a constant increase in policyholders and premium volume, which has allowed the company to move forward with solidity and present growth rates higher than the market average year after year. During 2025, ASISA Vida maintained this commitment to growth: its premium volume increased by 18% in Spain and Portugal, exceeding 150,000 policyholders.

Personalized products and policyholder service

ASISA Vida's commitment to being a company capable of competing in term life insurance has taken the form of modular products, with adjusted premiums and clear benefits in death and disability coverage, complemented by a specific offer for groups such as large families, health professionals, or blood donors, who can access the insurer's products under advantageous conditions.

Furthermore, during these 10 years, ASISA Vida has consolidated its commercial network and its distribution agreements with brokers, one of its priority distribution channels which they will continue to invest in over the coming years. These commercial alliances are strategic and have allowed the company to expand its capacity to reach new customer segments throughout the territory.

This evolution has consolidated ASISA Vida's insurance as the most competitive in the Spanish term life market over the last five years, according to the "Estudio comparativo de primas del seguro de vida riesgo" (Comparative study of term life insurance premiums) published annually by Inese and Global Actuarial. After analyzing the results of 18 insurance entities and 7 bank-insurers across different scenarios, this study concludes that ASISA Vida offers the best average premium for the different ages and capitals studied, with coverages for death and total and permanent disability.
