The Fundación Espriu stands out among the health cooperatives of the world
For yet another year, the recently published World Cooperative Monitor has highlighted the size and growth of the activity of the institutions that make up the Fundación Espriu.

The report published by the International Cooperative Alliance and the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises, which collects data from the 300 largest cooperatives in the world, has classified the Fundación Espriu network in second place in the health ranking by turnover, thus maintaining the level of the previous year.
To place the economic results in context, the researchers also establish a classification taking into account the country's per capita income in which the cooperative operates. This indicator places the Fundación Espriu in fifth place, highlighting its size in relation to productivity and economic development in Spain.
According to the report, the total economic volume of the top 300 cooperatives amounts to US $2,146 billion. By geographic location, 88 companies are located in The Americas, 166 in Europe and 46 in the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to quantitative information, the report analyses the impact and response that cooperatives have given to the crisis caused by COVID-19 and includes a chapter on the contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals established in the United Nations 2030 Agenda, emphasising especially climate action.
